Philip L. Segal, 92 years of age, of Beaumont Hwy., Lebanon, husband of Annie (Goldstein) Segal, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Morris and Annie Segal. Philip was a dairy farmer for many years in Lebanon before becoming a Real Estate Broker. As a Real Estate Broker, he held many state and local offices and won many awards. He was a lifelong member of the Lebanon Lions Club and Temple B’nai Israel in Willimantic. Besides his wife, he leaves his son Herbert and his wife Tanya of Bolton, daughter Linda Roma and her husband Vincent of Carmel, NY; daughter-in-law, Donna Segal of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, as well as a sister, Lena Hoult of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Larry Segal, and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Sanctuary of Temple B’nai Israel, 345 Jackson St., Willimantic with Rabbi Jeremy Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in the Workmen’s Circle Cemetery, Mansfield. A memorial period will be observed at the home of Herb & Tanya Segal in Bolton on Saturday with services at 8 PM and Sunday with services at 7 PM.
