Robert, we are so sorry to hear about your mother, please accept our condoclences. We have fond memories of her when we lived in the Hartford area, along with your father Stu, in Bloomfield. She was such a wonderful lady and so proud of you and your brother. The world is a sadder place without her.

Phyllis was a very dear friend of mine and she'll be sorely
missed. We traveled to Alaska together and spent the past
9 years seeing many movies, plays, and eating out together.

Dear Steve and Rob,
I was saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. I have many endearing memories of Phyllis -- including the first time anyone ever made matzoh brei for me (and I've loved it ever since). Please know that you are in my thoughts. May the memory of your Mom always be a blessing to both of you.
With Love,
Lou

I have known, admired and respected Phyllis for more that 30 years. She was truly one who dedicated her life to the cause of social justice and she thrived on helping others whenever and however she could. She was a great leader, a strong unionist, a vibrant and compassionate woman, and I am honored that we were friends. May it help her family to know there are so many who will cherish her memory in our hearts.

Dear Robert and Steven,
Your mom and dad were first our neighbors, and then our good friends through many years. Your mom was a role model of strength, achievement, commitment, and accomplishment; she was like the Energizer Bunny - always kept on going. And how proud she was of you both, and of her entire family! We are so sorry to say goodbye to her... our thoughts and sympathies are with you all.
