Dear Scott and Glen and Shari,
It all seems so long ago, being neighbors on Lawler Road and playing games in the back yard. And yet it seems almost like yesterday. Your mom was always very kind to me and Eric. I can still hear her saying to one of you (after you'd been a little naughty), "You wait till your father gets home!".
Sorry I can't be there on Friday. I've been living in Edinburgh very happily with my partner martin of 28 years and our daughter Sarah, who is now a freshman at college in the USA.
I hope you all are well - under the circumstances.

Rae was an extremely valued employee of the Jewish Federation for well over two decades. Her smile and vivacious spirit will never be forgotten. May her memory be for a blessing.

Dear Scott, Glen and Shari: I've not seen your mom in many years, but I always felt she was an important part of our lives. When we were all on Lawler Road, I was a new mother. Your mom helped me so frequently with questions about child rearing. She even took Louis in the middle of the night when his brother was born.
I'm so sorry our lives drifted apart. Perhaps, it was our very frequent moves to other states. Regardless, I'm should have tried harder to remain in touch.
I know she left you with a legacy of a good mother and friend.
I am profoundly sorry for your loss.

Scott ,Glen and Shari,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom loved you so much and I know she was proud of all of you. Just know that your Mom is still alive in each of your hearts. your pain will take some time, however you will always have great memories as Rea was a wonderful mother to the three of you.

Rae was the smile on the phone or at the desk of the Federation. When I became active in I992 as head of the campaign I knew nothing about the inner workings of the Federation - Rae knew everything and she generously taught me what I needed to know. I thanked her then and want you to know how special she was.
