David and Family, you are I our thoughts and prayers. We are so very sorry for your loss.
He leaves his wife, Sarah Meyers; his children, Ellen Meyers (Kim Anno), Jodi Meyers, David Meyers, and Alex Meyers; 4 stepsons Isaac (Esther) Graf, Nathan (Marisa) Graf, Solomon (Michelle) Graf, and Benjamin Graf; 11 grandchildren; and his dear cousin Malcolm Shub. He came from humble beginnings. The first in his family to earn a college degree, he later graduated from Boston University School of Law. His career was full and varied. He was an entrepreneur who practiced law, was the treasurer of the City of Stamford, and worked in the liquor distribution business. He created and ran vocational schools for nearly 20 years in Hartford. He was a man of strong character, and was driven to help people. He loved to create and loved to draw. He was an avid and accomplished sailor, and in his later years he loved kayaking and bicycling, including a 50 mile ride on his 70th birthday. He was happiest spending time with his loving wife and family. He will be greatly missed.

To The Meyers' Family,
As Bloomfield neighbors, we were sadden by your loss. We too have experienced such grief and found comfort in these words: "[God] will swallow up death forever..." (Isaiah 25:8) How we look forward to that time. M
We hope the 80 years of life that Mr. Meyers enjoyed will bring warm memories to the family.
