No, I didn't stay in touch w/ Rob after law school, that being the rule rather than the exception w/ my classmates. I can still visualize him dropping by my cubicle and chatting and his great sense of humor and perspective on life. I was truly sorry to hear of his death, Rob was a great guy and I am glad our lives intersected for a few years out there in rural Virginia. My condolences go out to his children and grandchildren--of course at the time you were mere possibilities.

Erica, Samantha & Michael -

I am so sad to read of the passing of your dad. He was a wonderful man, he was so good to me, like a father for many years while I worked with him. He loved you guys and your children so much and always spoke of how proud he was of you all. I wish you all peace through fond memories with him. ~ Kerry Rusgrove

My condolences to the family. I have such vivid memories of your dad - fun loving, witty, always ready with a quip or rejoinder. Also a great deal maker and thinker. I am saddened by your loss and that I will not run into him in Court. Regards,
Charlie

Rob was my attorney and also my friend. I could count on Rob not only for excellent representation but also for fine and timely advise. The community has lost a good man

Erica, Samantha, Michael,

I am very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. While I only worked with Rob for about a year he was a very generous, selfless and caring man. Of the attorneys I worked for over the years he was the most dedicated when it came to the time and attention he put into each and every client. He always strove to do the right things the right way and added a human element to the legal world.

What he spoke most of during our many lunches were the three of you, (and spouses) and his grandchildren. I don't think there was a lunch where they weren't brought up and bragged about. The only rule on the days he needed to not be interrupted was "it doesn't matter what I'm doing or who I'm talking to, if one of my children call knock on my door and let me know". No matter what. His love for all of you was amazingly evident and I hope that eventually gives you some solace in this difficult time. My deepest condolences.
Lindsay
