Rose K. Tanenbaum of Sky View Drive, West Hartford, widow of Max I. Tanenbaum, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006. Born in Revere, MA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Katz. She worked as a paraprofessional at Hartford High School for over 27 years. Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and family was most important to her. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel, West Hartford. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, David J. Tanenbaum and his wife Linda of Airmont, NY; two daughters: Shona Iannantuoni and her husband David of Brockton, MA, and Rebecca Gilbert and her husband Jacques of Simsbury; four grandchildren: Michael and Cara Tanenbaum and Jessica and Sarah Gilbert; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, with Rabbi Michael Pincus officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Avon. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her daughter, Rebecca Gilbert, 29 Red Stone Dr., Simsbury on Friday following the funeral.
