Ruth (Fischer) Naparstek, 97, of West Hartford, died Monday, June 20, 2011. She was the widow of Adolph Naparstek. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Rose (Glick) Fischer. She leaves her beloved daughter Cypra Alaimo and her husband Benjamin of South Windsor; her daughter-in-law Muriel Naparstek of Bloomfield; her grandchildren: Marc and Patti Naparstek, Scot and Darlene Naparstek, Jeff Naparstek, and Craig and Jennifer Naparstek; nine great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Naparstek, her sister and three brothers. She will be deeply missed by her family and many dear friends. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at the Hebrew Home & Hospital who provided for her care.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at
2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebrew Merchants Society Cemetery, Garden St., Hartford. A memorial period will be observed at the home of her daughter Cypra, 130 Valley View Drive, South Windsor through Friday afternoon.
