I became a friend of Sally's late in her life. My job was "driving Miss Sally" to medical appointments, Stop & Shop, jewelry repair shops, and perhaps her favorite, Boston Chicken!
Sally had a delightful sense of humor when choosing to share it. While not always starting conversations, she would join in and take the lead. She would share her opinions, quickly.
She was the penultimate passenger in that she wanted to always take the most direct route, no dilly-dallying, and preferably, keep on-the-move.
A gracious lady, whom I respected and will remember with great fondness.
