Dear Sally and family
We are so sorry to learn of Sam's death. We spent many a great time together at TBCC and at the JCC Health Club. He was a tremendous asset to the Greater Hartford Community. May his memory be for a blessing.

To: Sally, David and Laurie, Diane and Roger, Betty and Seth and to Sam's 10 grandchildren;
I was saddened to hear about Sam's passing. We had been very close friends since the fifties; golf, cards, cigars and business. We drifted apart in recent years, but our friendship continued to exist even though it was not as visible as it once had been.
YA was one of a kind, and Diane I credit you with creating a new nickname for me. When you were just learning to talk you couldn't pronounce my true nickname,"Mr. Mule." Instead it came out, "Mr. Noodle."
I'm leaving for Fl. tomorrow and regrettably will not be attending Sam's service.
My deepest sympathies to all of you.
Mr. Noodle

It was my great honor to interview Sam Title for the Connecticut Veteran's History Project. I was struck by his sense of humor, his dedication to his country, and his involvement in civic and charitable activities.
My condolences to his family - it is indeed a great loss.

I am very saddened to hear of Sam's passing. He was a dear friend to both of my parents, Carol and Dutch Selwyn. He had a wonderful sense of humor -- my father would be laughing before Sam had even started the story -- and was always very, very kind. My thoughts go out to the Title family. Amy Selwyn

I have memories of Sam that include good days of the Hartford Capitols basketball team at Bloomfield High. I also have recent memories of Sam being in attendance at many Bloomfield High concerts and functions and finally as my playing partner on the 1st official day that Wintonbury Hills golf course opened. Sam was a great man that lived life to the fullest and enjoyed living. To the family, my deepest sympathies. May your memories be full of joy.

Dear David,
I am so sorry to hear about your father. Your father was a military man like my father whom I lost ten years ago. You must be very proud of how much he gave of himself to public service.
