She leaves her children, Kaj I. Munic and his wife Danielle of Columbia, CT, Jerome (Jerry) A. Munic of Springfield, MA, Rachelle Munic and her partner Stephanie Resnick of Philadelphia, PA, and Miriam Skora and her husband Eli of Eagan, MN; her sister Henny Goldberg of Woodmere, NY; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Glenmeadow, 24 Tabor Crossing, Longmeadow, MA. Interment will follow in Congregation B’nai Tikvoh-Shalom Cemetery, 10 Club House Rd., Windsor, CT. Shiva will be observed at the home of Jerry Munic, 518 Park Dr., Springfield, MA on Wednesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 11th at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Glenmeadow Staff Education Fund, The United States Holocaust Museum, Jewish Family Service of Western Massachusetts or a charity of the donor’s choice. Our sincerest condolences to the Munic family on your loss. My memories of Grandma Sara go all the way back to Deerfield Avenue in Hartford when I was a teenager and went to the beach on summer Sundays with the Munic family. May Grandma Sara rest in eternal peace.
