Obituary

Sidney Lieb, 91, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 with his daughter by his side. He was born February 18, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Martha. Sidney, who lived in Avon, CT for the last 18 years, is survived by his devoted and caring daughter Susan (son in-law Steven Gladstone) of Avon, and his two beautiful and wonderful grandchildren, Joshua and Rachel. He is also survived by his brother Murray of Richardson,TX. Sidney was a loving, caring and loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Friday, June 17, 2011, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in the Young Friends Progressive Society Cemetery, Hartford. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home & Hospital, 1 Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford 06117.
