Susan Cramer, beloved mother and grandmother passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 86 in Bridgeport, CT. She was born on September 12, 1937 in New Britain, CT, to the late Judge Samuel Googel and Corrine Googel. Susan is survived by her daughter, Lisa Kelley and her husband, Al Kelley, her son, Attorney Paul Cramer, and her grandchildren, Caroline (Kai), Samantha, and Jack. She is also survived by her brother, Jon Googel, and Dr. Fred Googel and his wife Daryl. Susan had a fulfilling life, marked by her dedication to various careers. She worked as a teacher and in real estate. Later in life, she overcame her fear of flying to become a flight attendant. Her time as a flight attendant were some of the happiest years of her life. Susan attended New Britain High School and furthered her education at the University of Connecticut and Boston University. A private service will be held at Beth Alom Cemetery in New Britain on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to the Dementia Society of America. The Weinstein Mortuary in Hartford, CT, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
