Susie (Weinstein) Pearl, 107 years old, of West Hartford, died Monday, October 10, 2016. She was the widow of Morris Pearl. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Flaxman) Weinstein. Susie was the head cashier at the former Wise & Smith Department Store before she retired and she did volunteer work at the Hebrew Home & Hospital. She leaves her son, Gerald Pearl and his wife Diane of Colchester; her daughter, Sandra Pearl Liebes of Boynton Beach, FL; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five sisters, her brother and her son-in-law, Randy Liebes. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Judah Isaacs officiating. Interment will follow at the First Ludmir Benevolent Society Cemetery, Hartford. Yom Kippur will cancel out Shiva. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hebrew Home.
