Dear Richard and Karen,
My sincerest condolences on the death of beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother Sylvia L. Stern. I still recall all our happy times at B'nai Sholom, Newington and our times with the Sisterhood/Karen your presidency. Sorry cannot attend, but am chairing our Friends of Yiddish at the JCC today/Sunday and also am a designated driver for some. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Hope everyone else is well and the future will be brighter. Be safe! With fond memories, Barbara Katzman

Dear Richard and Karen and Family,
My sincerest condolences on the death of beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, Sylvia Stern Lipman. Am sorry I could not attend funeral today or be at Marriot. I was chairing our BTS monthly Friends of Yiddish Meeting at the JCC today. I still remember our many happy times at B'nai Sholom in Newington, and the fun we had when you, Karen, were Sisterhood President. May the days ahead bring a brightening to you all as you revisit the joyous times the family spent together. My best wishes for solace, good health and peace-filled times together.
Sincerely, Barbara Katzman
