Obituary

Sylvia Wendrow, 88, of West Hartford, died Thursday, May 17, 2007. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Samuel and Belle (Forman) Wendrow. Greatly loved by everyone, she leaves a brother, Manuel N. Wendrow and his wife Dora of Newington, and two sisters: Dorothy Silver of West Hartford, and Marilyn Gordon and her husband Sidney of Bloomfield; as well as several nieces and nephews: Stacy and Paul Ruland of Sugarhill, GA, Bruce and Leslie Gordon of West Hartford, Mark Gordon of Miami, FL, Alan and Adrienne Silver of Bloomfield, Stephen Silver of East Haven, Joel Wendrow of Newington, and Sheryl and Robert Tutolo of Northfield, CT. She was predeceased by a brother, Alvin Wendrow, sister-in-law Dorothy Wendrow, and brother-in-law William Silver. Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home & Hospital, 1 Abrahms Blvd., West Hartford 06117. Arrangements entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford.
