Sylvia (Sosansky)Wolfgang, 94 years of age, of West Hartford, CT, passed on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 6:30 pm. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in Patchogue New York. Sylvia was the daughter of Louis and Rose (Wolowitz) Sosansky and big sister to Beattie Rose. She grew up in a loving family in a small town on long Island and was a debater and an actress in high school. Sylvia attended Packer Business College and ran wartime production of naval aviation manufacturing at Grumman aerospace during the war. She worked at Time Life and at Heublein in the wine and spirits division for 30 years making friends all over the world. Sylvia traveled often as possible to San Francisco and Carmel California and Europe visiting England Spain and England . She was a valued Volunteer at the UCONN medical center for 13 years. Sylvia leaves to this world her adoring progeny Barbara and Scott Galin , Haris Wolfgang her loving grandchildren Matt Galin (Kristi Galin) , Rachel Greenfield (David Greenfield), Glorijana & Adine Wolfgang and her 9 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 27th, 2016 in Mount Ararat Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
