Tevia “Teddy” Z. Manheim of Windsor died peacefully Saturday (September 14, 2013) at The Hebrew Home and Hospital. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Julia (Katz) Manheim. He was the co-owner of the former Lincoln Auto Supply Co. in Windsor. Teddy was a true history buff and knew everything about his beloved Hartford. He loved cars and was an avid gardener. Teddy was a kind and loving spirit who had many friends and will be sorely missed. He leaves two sisters, Maxine Anglin of Windsor and Elaine Tamiso of New York; his brother-in-law Robert Tamiso of New York; many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Doris Rosen of West Hartford, Annette Giber of New Port Richey, FL, Katherine Manheim, and an infant brother Phillip.
Funeral services will be held graveside at The Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford on Tuesday September 17, 2013 At 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebrew Home and Hospital, 1 Abrams Blvd. West Hartford. Teddy’s family would like to express their gratitude to all of his caregivers at Hebrew Heath Care.
