Victoria G. Cowan died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 11th at the age of 100. She was the widow of Daniel M. Cowan and the daughter of Oscar and Claire Grab of New York City. Vicki grew up and spent many years in both New York City and Lausanne, Switzerland. She was fluent in French and Italian. She enjoyed traveling and spent many years visiting different places. She enjoyed her later life in Boca Raton. She spent several days playing Mah-Jong and also enjoyed playing Bridge, Rummikub and Backgammon. She leaves behind her daughter Claire Evans of West Hartford, CT, her son-in-law Steven Rosenthal of Bethesda, Maryland, her grandchildren Brian Rosenthal, Debbie Bellusci and her husband Vincent, Donald Evans and his wife Jill, Gwen Goldstein and her husband Joel as well as six great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Olivia and Evan Bellusci, William and Andrew Evans and Jordana Goldstein. She was predeceased by her daughter Judith Rosenthal and her son-in-law Dr. Jerome Evans. She was an amazing woman, was rarely, if ever sick, and only slowed down in the last two months of her life.
