My heart is torn right now. I am so deeply saddened. I will miss Wendy so much. A dear friend from all our years together at Kohls. "Motown" shows, Bushnell, casinos, lots of food !, Golf tournament, hockey, the beach, Mystic (of course), warm conversations and laughs...can go on and on but with all I have, to dear Ruth... You raised a most beautiful person who was so devoted to you and for all had so much love to give. Ruth, you are always in my heart and prayers.

Dear Aunt Ruthie,

We will always remember Wendy as the kind, friendly, helpful and warm person that she was.
I have fond memories of her from my childhood in Connecticut when we played at our grandparent's
house on Gilbert Ave. and also when she lived in Los Angeles. Our deepest condolences to you.

Wendy always had a tremendous energy and quick to share a laugh. Deeply sorry to hear of her passing.

Saddened by the sudden loss of Wendy. I knew her mostly from visits to California during my childhood, teens, and later. Always enjoyed her visits and wished I could have spent more time with her. I will always have a warm memory of Wendy. Condolences to Aunt Ruthy and the rest of our family.

My most cherished memories of Wendy are of us playing together as children at Grandpa's house at 55 Gilbert Avenue in New Haven, running screaming through Grandpa's, Aunt Yetta's, Aunt Anna's and Uncle Joe's apartments, racing around the house, into the garden, up the trees, through the mistreated grapevine, carefully walking around outside the railing of the second story front porch, when no mother or aunt was there to see. I guess they felt that because they could always hear us (as could the neighbors), they didn't need to see us to know we were ok. They were wrong. If Wendy and I visited on the same day, our aunts knew that peace was a dream and tranquility an abstraction never to be realized in their world. Some of Wendy's aunts are welcoming her now, but nervously looking over their shoulder hoping that I won't show up too soon for our play date.

I have many good memories from childhood times spent with Wendy.

Wendy will be missed from the Kohl's family at 661 in Canton. She was always quick with a witty comment after customer interactions, especially those who asked the impossible. My prayers go to her family and friends at this time of loss.

I wish we'd had more time together.

Who will be my bowling partner when I come to Connecticut? It was fun competing with you, Stanley and J.J. bowling. It was always a pleasure when you and Stanley came to visit me in Virginia Beach, Va. during the summer. We ran the road races, walk on the boardwalk, swim, and sit, on the beach with Stanley's big RED umbrella. I will miss your laugher.

I will never forget the good times we shared together bowling, going to road races as Stanley and I were running you were our cheerleader, and our trips to Virginia Beach, Va.
