On Nov. 28, William Moiger of Hartford rode into the sunset to be with his beloved wife, Helen (Marcus) Moiger, and daughter, Doralea. He was born to Jacob and Minnie (Pearlman) Moiger on Oct. 22, 1910 in New York City and resided in Hartford for most of his life. For many years, he and his wife owned Moiger’s Texaco on Tower Ave. No one who ever met Bill could forget his smile, warmth and ever-present cowboy hat. Beside his wife and daughter, William was predeceased by brothers, George and Herbert. He leaves a sister, Mildred Goldberg; Gary Goldberg-O’Maxfield and his wife, Karen O’Maxfield of Hartford; as well as many other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 30 at 2pm in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Rd, East Granby. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements entrust to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford. For further information, directions or to share memories, please visit www.weinsteinmortuary.com.
