Dear Teddy and Bobbi,
So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I spoke to her quite often at the gym, and we shared a common friend, Irene Sorokin. Your mother was an elegant and refined lady, full of wisdom and kind thoughts. She was always a pleasure to talk to. You were blessed; you are in my thoughts.
Love,

Ziona was a wonderful woman and I loved knowing her. She was formative for me during my teenage years and in my twenties and I loved the warmth and comfort I felt in her company. She was so incisive, so astute, and so worldly. She made life richer and fuller. She was wise and authentic and gave my grandfather, Saul, very happy and adventurous years in their time together. I will continue to cherish her insights and perspectives. I miss her already and am so sorry to say goodbye.
Lots of love, Charlotte

Carol, Teddy,Liz and Bernie - so sorry to hear about your effervescent mother - always loving, always with a smile - no, a laugh! She enhanced the lives of so many people - especially my dear sister-in- law, Irene Sorokin, and the close friendships of the two Bernies! My memory will always be warm and loving.

Dear Teddy and Bobbie: we are so sorry to hear about Ziona’s death. We have memories of her at the beach and West Hartford, always smart, thoughtful and blunt. Ziona spoke her mind and we loved that. From her feistiness came sound advice for us.
We wish you comfort in your memories of her, Cindy Chazan and Jay Leipzig

Condolences to the Kaplan family. Elaine has wonderful memories of our time serving together on the Jewish Family Service board and committees. Always a joy to be with; her warmth, caring, and wisdom were an inspiration. She was an asset to the Jewish community, a friend, and will be mised by all who knew her.
