Albert Davis, 97, born in Sighet Romania, and spent his golden years in West Palm Beach Florida died peacefully on December 29,2024. He was devoted and loving husband of his late wife Pauline Davis and second wife Adele Gaster. He was predeceased by his daughter Freda Duke Davis, stepson Jeffrey Gaster and parents Martin and Freda Davidovitz.
He was a holocaust survivor, served his country in the United States Army. He began his career as a meat cutter with his own shop. He then moved and working at serval establishments including Copaco and the Crown Supermarket where he retired.
He was an avid sports fan enjoying the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He had a golden voice and was often a Cantor at the synagogue during the high holidays.
He is survived by his son Edward Davis and his wife Joanne, his daughter Marcy Davis, his stepdaughter Emeline Jacobs and husband Howard. He leaves his grandchildren Allison and Benjamin Davis and his step grandchildren Michael and Sharon Jacobs along with cherished family and friends.
A special thanks to Jerry Lichstein of West Palm Beach Florida who visited Albert every week and often brought him delicious treats and kept his family posted on his status.
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday January 2, 2025, at 11 am at the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, 74 Wolcott Road, East Granby Ct 06026. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Morse Life Hospice, 4847 David S Mack Drive, West Palm Beach FL, 33417.
