Alice (Flaks) Krall

Alice Krall of Bloomfield, CT, formerly of West Hartford, died in her home on April 4, 2019. She was the widow of Irving H. Krall, MD, of West Hartford. She was born in New Haven, CT on January 2, 1922, the daughter of Herman and Mollie Flaks.Alice graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a BS in Special Education and from Yale University with a MA in Education. She was active throughout her life in numerous community activities related to the Hartford Medical Society, the Wadsworth Atheneum, and the Hartt School and the Art School of University of Hartford. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel and Tumble Brook Country Club.Alice leaves her children, Susan Stamler of Manhattan, NY, James Krall and his wife Maryellen Donnelly of Hampton, CT, and Michael Krall, MD, and his wife Elizabeth Edmonds Krall of West Hartford, CT, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Joseph Stamler.

The family will celebrate her life with a private service.
