Antonie "Toni" (Selz) Friedlein

Antonie “Toni” (Selz) Friedlein, 87, of Seabury Drive, Bloomfield died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends, on Sunday evening, October 14, 2007. She was the widow of Oscar Friedlein. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Margaret (Herz) Selz. She worked at Pratt & Whitney Machine Tool and the United Way of Greater Hartford before she retired. She was a member of Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh of Bloomfield. She leaves two daughters, Alice Holloway and her husband Thomas of Southington, and Monica Nelson and her husband Robert of Newburyport, MA; a sister, Martha Dachs of Walnut Creek, CA; and a granddaughter, Rachel Holloway as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi Lilly Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow in Congregation Tikvoh Chadoshoh Cemetery, Windsor. A memorial period will be observed at her home following the funeral at 200 Seabury Dr., Bloomfield and then at the home of her daughter, Alice Holloway, 26 Heritage Dr., Southington on the evenings of Tuesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 17, 2007.
