Beatrice (L. Cohen) Gottlieb

Beatrice L. Gottlieb, 90, of Glastonbury, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, widow of Samuel M. Gottlieb, died Monday, (June 28, 2005) in Hartford Hospital. Born in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Fannie (Goldstein) Cohen. She received her Masters Degree from Temple University and was a librarian for the City of Philadelphia before she retired. She leaves two daughters, Phyllis Awruch and her husband Samuel of Glastonbury, and Eileen Bradford and her husband Charles of New York, NY; and three grandchildren and a great grandchild. She also leaves two sisters and a brother. She was predeceased by two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Interment will be in the Mount Sharon Cemetery, Springfield, PA. A Memorial period will be observed at the home of her daughter Phyllis, 116 Woodhaven Rd., Glastonbury, on Sunday, July 3rd, from 2 - 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.
