Blanche (Berkowitz) Harman

Blanche (Berkowitz) Harman, 92 years of age, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011. She was the widow of Gilbert Harman. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Katy (Brody) Berkowitz. She leaves her daughter, Joni Vanderbilt and her husband Richard of Norwalk; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Grody. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in the Beth Israel Cemetery, Hartford, with Rabbi Dena Shaffer officiating.
