Brad Jackson

Brad Jackson, 60, as he was commonly known, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2016. He is survived by his true love of 38 years, Penny. His greatest pride and joy are his children, Sarah Miles and Aron Cosmos and equally his ” mentored” children Chris Craig and Lauren Bernstein. Brad was a happy man who looked forward to everyday as a challenge and a chance to enjoy his life with the friends who surrounded him. For 34 12 years he worked as the Eastern Regional VP of Corporate Recognition Consultants and loved his job. In his free time he thoroughly enjoyed mowing his lawn to absolute perfection, golfing, lying on his back in the ocean being the center of story-telling and lore as well as savoring every morsal of bizarre and unusual food he could find. He had a wanderlust of traveling; seeing new, wonderful places and driving every imaginable route to the same place never crossing his path more than once. He is a longtime member of Simsbury Rotary, Human Resources Assoc.and a former member of Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation.

A memorial service will be held at Hopmeadow Country Club Thursday, July 21, 2016 85 Firetown Rd, Simsbury,CT 06070 between 2-4 PM Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Sharon Gardens, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10559. Following the interment the family will receive relatives and friends at the home of Jeffrey and Barbara Saltzman. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to practice kindness and mentor a child in need in a way you find comforting. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT.
