Cemach M Goldsmith

Cemach Goldsmith, 83 of Newington, CT passed away on December 27, 2022 at Hospital of Central Connecticut. he was born on February 2, 1939 to the late Rachel (Hoffenberg) and Myer Goldsmith. He grew up in New Britain, CT. He graduated from the University of Connecticut and University of Connecticut School of Social Work. He worked as a Social Worker at several hospitals and nursing homes. His favorite past time was watching the Boston Red Sox. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith (Goldberg) Goldsmith, his daughter Melissa (Goldsmith) Bogatz and her husband Steven, his son Marc Goldsmith and his wife Michele, his grandchildren Andrew and Jack Bogatz, Emma, Sara, and Grace Goldsmith.

Graveside services will be held at Beth Alom Cemetary 46 Allen Street New Britain, CT Friday, December 30th at 11:00.

Shiva will be observed Friday from 4-8 and Sunday 1-4 at 73 Lamp Lighter Lane Newington
