Diane ("Dee") Gervais

Diane “Dee” Gervais of Bristol, CT, born April 26, 1944, daughter of the late Milton and Nettie (Kaufman) passed away October 1, 2018, at home after a brief illness with her daughter Deena Nizgorski of Thomaston, CT, son Michael Sinclair of Bristol, CT, and her sister Carol Buch Balanoff (Murray) of South Windsor, CT, by her side. Aunt Dee is also survived by nephews Stephen Webber (Donna) of Manchester, CT, Daniel Webber (Maureen) of Suffield, CT, and great-nephew Matt of Manchester, CT and great-nieces Marissa Kennan of Ellington, CT, Kristen Webber of Vernon, CT, Brittney and Alexa Webber of Manchester, CT. Dee was an amazing aunt and mother, loved country-western dancing, baking her sour cream cake for friends and family. After graduation from Berlin High School, Berlin, CT, class of 1962, she became for over 40 years a travel agent, retiring in 2010. A memorial service is planned for October 21, 2018 at her home in Bristol, CT. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society restricted to pancreatic cancer research, PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Private arrangements were entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford, CT. “WITH A HEAVY HEART SHE HAS LEFT US, BUT WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR MEMORIES.”
