Donald C. Rosenblatt

Donald C. Rosenblatt, 98 years of age, of Newington, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Eldrich) Rosenblatt. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Rosenblatt .He was a member of Temple Sinai and a retired attorney for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. He was a graduate of the University of CT and the University of CT Law school. Donald served in the Army During World War II in Europe. While a student at UConn, he developed a love for UConn basketball. Donald remained a die-hard fan and season ticket holder for over seventy years. Donald loved playing bridge and was a past member of the Hartford Bridge Club. After retiring, Donald and Phyllis went on many cruises, exploring the world. Gpa leaves his son, Paul Rosenblatt of Cromwell; and one granddaughter, Mary Rosenblatt of Wallingford. Funeral services will be held privately on Monday, January 4, 2021 with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating at the Temple Sinai Cemetery, Newington.
