Elisabeth Levine

Elisabeth A. Levine, 88, daughter of I. Oscar Levine and Selma Levine died on March 16, 2023. She was brought up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School in 1952. She went on to graduate from Smith College in 1956 after which she earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Hartford. She was a greatly-loved teacher in the West Hartford school system for many decades. She was an avid bridge player, having earned the title of Life Master. She was also a club champion golfer at Tumble Brook Country Club. She leaves behind her brothers George Levine of Avon and Laurence Levine of Brooklyn, NY, her nieces and nephews Elizabeth Levine of East Hampton, CT, Andrew Levine of Belle Harbor, NY, Anne Levine of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and John Levine of Hartford, CT. The funeral will be a graveside service at the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery in Wethersfield, CT on Tuesday, March 21 at 11:30 AM.
