Evelyn Ertman

Evelyn Ertman, 87 years of age, of West Hartford, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Fannie (Epstein) Ertman. Evelyn was a retired employee of The Hartford Insurance Group. She leaves her sister, Joyce Merkin of Bloomfield. She was predeceased by her brother, Max Ertman, and her brother-in-law, Jacob Merkin. The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to the nursing staff at the Hebrew Home & Hospital.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Dr., West Hartford 06117 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
