Everett Allan Goldberg, 68, of West Hartford, born October 4, 1943,died peacefully with his family by his side on November 7, 2011. He was the predeceased by his father Jacob Goldberg and mother Dorothy Lampkin Goldberg and his brother Irwin “Bob” Goldberg. Everett leaves four wonderful children whom he cherished, Pamela Goldberg-Urso and her husband Bruce of Unionville; David R. Goldberg and his wife Alanna of West Hartford; Adam D. Goldberg and his wife Stephanie of Middletown; Dan A. Goldberg and his fiance Amanda of West Hartford, CT. In addition to his children, he leaves behind six amazing grandchildren: Logan, Alexander, Jessica, Cayden, Ella, and Grace; and his former wife and good friend Linda Hanson. Everett graduated from the UCONN School of Pharmacy. He owned and operated GoldDrugs, Inc. in Hartford, CT. He was best known as “Daddy G” at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Bristol for over twenty years and recently retired from CVS. He was an avid UCONN Husky Fan and loyal alumnus and very proud of his Jewish heritage. He had an infectious personality and will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 11 a.m., in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford, CT with interment following in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, East Granby, CT. Memorial Contributions may be made to Connecticut Childrens Medical Center, or United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
