George Geary

George Geary, loving and beloved husband of Cathie (Wasserzug) Geary, died January 5, 2021. He was 77. He was born and raised in Middletown, served in the Navy, and moved to Rocky Hill many years ago. George enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially Ogunquit, Maine. He was an excellent gardener and cook and enjoyed serving his signature spaghetti sauce and lasagna. But most importantly, George was devoted to Cathie and his extended family. He cheered their every accomplishment and took pride in being a part of their lives. In addition to Cathie, George leaves sisters-in-law Heidi Lane and Jane DiSciacca and her husband Larry. Additionally, George leaves niece Rebecca DiSciacca and her husband Kevin Johnson, nephew Jack DiSciacca and his wife Renee Sher, and a very much adored grandniece and grandnephew.
