Geraldine ((Baver)) Sack

Geraldine (Baver) Sack, 87 years of age, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of West Hartford, CT and Boynton Beach, FL, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019. She was the widow of Gilbert Sack. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Leybovich) Baver. Gerri was an administrative assistant in the Hartford school system for more than 30 years. She ended her career as executive assistant at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, which was located in the former Weaver High School, Gerri’s alma mater, where Gerri met her husband Gil and made many lifelong friends. Gerri leaves her daughters, Debra Sack Massave and Karen Sack, both of Dunwoody, GA, and her sons, Rabbi Marc Sack and his wife Leni of Fort Myers, FL and Jonathan Sack and his wife Lisa of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren Benjamin, Michael, Anton and Gemma Sack; and her great-grandchildren Kayla and Joshua Massave. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Sack, who was an owner of Forster Heights Pharmacy in Hartford for many years. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday November 1, 2019 at Beth El Temple Cemetery, 51 Jackson Street Extension, Avon, CT with Rabbi James Rosen officiating.
