Harold Mark Nearman

Harold Mark Nearman, 83, of Melbourne, FL, and formerly of West Hartford, passed away peacefully at home on March 17th.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lynn. Harold is survived by his daughters, Nancy Sweetman and husband, Steve, of Melbourne, FL, and Barbara Hackenyos and husband, Dan, of Granby, CT. He also leaves behind his cherished little sister, Myrna Rabin and husband, Jay. Harold was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to Charlie Sweetman, wife Nikki, and their daughter, Ann, as well as Sam Sweetman, wife Katie, and their daughter, Gwen. He is also survived by his nephew, Jon Rabin, and niece, Stephanie Rabin.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 30th, at 11:00 AM at the Hartford Mutual Cemetery, 74 Wolcott Rd, East Granby. A meal of condolence will follow at the Hackenyos home, 18 Hemlock Rd, Granby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
