Hilda ((Rashall)) Baron

Hilda (Rashall) Baron of Cohoes, NY, formerly of Ellington, CT, passed away at the age of 98 on March 8, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Solomon Baron. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hyman and Emma (Cantor) Rashall. She and her husband owned a poultry farm in Ellington for many years and was a former member of Congregation B’nai Israel of Rockville, CT. Hilda leaves her son Michael Baron of Ft. Meyers, FL; her daughter, Leanne Friedlander and her husband, Charles, of Defreestville, NY; her beloved granddaughter, EmmaKate; and her sister, Hedda Reichlin of Manchester, CT. In addition to her husband and parents, Hilda was predeceased by her son, Richard Baron; and her brother, Bernard Rashall. Hilda was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
The funeral service will take place at 1 PM on March 9, 2018, in the Knesseth Israel Cemetery, 123 Maple St., Ellington, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice.
