Howard B. Sohn

Howard was born in New Britain, CT to Joseph & Esther Sohn. He was a resident of Newington, CT for over 50 years. He died July 30, 2024 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Gail Kargman Sohn of Newington and his daughter Gerrilyn of New York City, and by his brother Norman Sohn of San Francisco, CA and his sister Sylvia Penneys of Safety Harbor, FL. He graduated from the University of Connecticut, Storrs where he was a member of Phi Sigma Delta fraternity. He joined the National Guard and then went to work with his father at the Modern Glass Co. in New Britain.

He then was the manager of Innovation Luggage in West Hartford. He was an avid UConn and Red Sox sports fan. He was deeply loved and will be missed. The funeral will be held at Temple Sinai, 41 West Hartford Road, Newington, CT on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11am.
