Jacqueline (Cutler) Cohn Berg

Jacqueline (Cutler) Cohn Berg, 80, of Redondo Beach, CA, formerly of West Hartford, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her first husband, Cantor Joseph Cohn of Beth El Temple in West Hartford, and by her daughter, Ruth (Cohn) Ferrier. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Hillel and Lottie (Kotkin) Cutler. The youngest of 11 children, she dearly loved all in her extended family. She leaves her husband, Leslie Berg; her son Hillel Cohn and his wife Jenny of Manhattan Beach, CA; her daughter, Carol Young and her husband Victor of Windsor Locks; her sister, Lena Wright and her husband Abe of Oregon; and 4 grandchildren: Joseph and Jonathan, Katherine and her husband Michael and Jennifer. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Interment will follow in the Cutler Family Circle Cemetery, Hurlbut St., West Hartford.
