Jerome (S.) Nisselbaum

Jerome Nisselbaum, PhD, died April 20 2017, at age 91. Born in Hartford, CT, Dr. Nisselbaum graduated with a BS from the University of Connecticut and earned his PhD in Biochemistry from Tufts University. He retired after 35 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute, where he was the Attending Biochemist in the Department of Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Nisselbaum is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elaine; his sister, Rhoda Steinberg; his children, Paula, Zvi, and Nancy; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Sunday, April 23 at 11am at United Synagogues of Greater Hartford Cemetery, Waverly Street, Hartford, with Rabbi David J. Small officiating.
