Joan (Marcantonio) Kalechman

Joan (Marcanaton) Kalechman, 80 years of age, passed away January 31, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Born April 13, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts she was a very accomplished lady in her field as an Executive Secretary for the State of CT in the State Election Enforcement Commission and also served as Executive Secretary to many corporations including United Technologies and other foreign enterprises. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all. She leaves behind her loving, devoted husband of 52 years, Robert H Kalechman. Her loving son and daughter-in-law Abraham and Sabrina Kalechman, and her two grandchildren- the lights of her life- Nathan Kalechman and Gianna Kalechman.

She will be laid to rest in the Hartford City Lodge, Tower Avenue, Hartford, CT on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1:30pm. Rabbi M. Samuels will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Jewish Family Services located at 333 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117.
