Judith Gloria Rosen, 90 of South Windsor, beloved wife of Edward Rosen for 67 years, passed away on December 22, 2019. She is survived by her daughters Jaye and her husband Dr. Benjamin Solomowitz, and Bobbi and her husband Nate Schilberg. Her daughter, Bonnie Sorrentino, predeceased her. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Josh and Justin Schilberg, Rebecca and Sarah Solomowitz, Michael Sorrentino and grandpuppy Teddy Schilberg. She volunteered her time at Rosedale Jewish Center in Queens, NY. When her daughters were young, she volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and many school events. Later on in life, she was involved with Hadassah and the Jewish Culture Club in West Palm Beach, FL.
Family graveside service will be held at 12 pm Thursday December 26, 2019 at the VA National Cemetery in Middletown, CT. Shiva will be held Thursday evening at the Schilberg residence in South Windsor, CT, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Contributions can be made in Judith’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, Hadassah, or the organization of your choice.
