Keith (J.) Ellis

Keith J. Ellis, 51 years of age, of Wethersfield, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Arthur and Beverly (Simons) Ellis. Keith was a 1981 graduate of Conard High School, West Hartford. He was the owner of Definitive Communications and Sun-Rayz Tanning Studio. He was a longstanding and faithful Baltimore Orioles baseball fan. Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, Nancy (Civitillo) Ellis; her parents Rose and Joseph Civitillo; step son Joseph Whalen; a sister Julie Levine and her husband Robert of West Hartford; and six nieces: Melissa, Vanessa, Kristina, Lauren, Margaux, and Nicole; sisters-in-law: Marie and Diane and her husband Robert, as well as many close friends. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, December 14, 2012 beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with a funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. A memorial period will be observed at the home of his sister, Julie, 105 Mohawk Dr., West Hartford, following the funeral.
