Leah (Ger) Spector

Leah Ger Spector, 93, was the wife of the late Norman Spector She was a founding member Temple Beth Sholom, now Beth Sholom B’nai Israel, Manchester and a member of Congregation Agudas Achim in West Hartford She was also a member of Sisterhood of BSBI and a life member of Hadassah She supported many civic and charitable causes Loving mother of Kenneth (Myrna) and Dr. William (Rachel) Spector and the late Berdine Spector Stoltz. Cherished grandmother of Norman (Octavia), Michael, Jennica and Geoffrey Spector, Rebecca Stoltz and Abby (Keith) Tottenham. Adored great grandmother of Calvin and Max Spector, Edyn and Alexander Tottenham. Besides her husband and daughter she was predeceased by her brothers Jack, Abraham and Isadore Ger and sisters Ethel Sibirski and Mollie Mitnick. Thanks to her devoted wonderful caretaker Celestine Klege, hospice nurses and staff, Drs Carta, Firshein and Pareles. Funeral services are at 1PM Thursday at Beth Sholom B’nai Israel with shiva observed at her late residence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Congregation Beth Sholom B’nai Israel or Hospice at Hartford HealthCare.
