Leonard M. Kaplan

Leonard M. Kaplan, 70, passed away on Friday, May 5. He was the beloved son of Rhoda (Elansky) Kaplan and the late Seymour Kaplan. Leonard was a lifelong resident of West Hartford where he worked for the town’s Parks Dept. He was an active darts player, enjoyed axe throwing, and worked for many years with the Bethlehem Fair. Leonard is survived by his loving and devoted mother, and will be remembered fondly by his many cousins and family members. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave. Hartford, CT 06105, with Rabbi David Small officiating. Procession to follow with burial in the Emanuel Synagogue Cemetery, Wethersfield, CT. A gathering will be held following the funeral service at the Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford with details to be announced at the service.
