Marcia (Trachtenroth) Gothold

Marcia (Trachtenroth) Gothold, of Miamis Road, West Hartford, widow of J. Richard Gothold, died Friday, November 30, 2007. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Goldberg) Trachtenroth. She was a member of the Emanuel Synagogue, West Hartford, and past member of Beth Hillel Synagogue, Bloomfield. She was a graduate of Weaver High School, Hartford. After raising her family, she obtained her Real Estate license and worked in several agencies. She was a life member of the Hebrew Home and Hadassah. She leaves her two sons: Joel and Lewis Gothold, and a sister Pearl Trachtenroth of West Hartford. Funeral services will held on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with Rabbi David J. Small officiating. Interment will follow in the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, East Granby. A memorial period will be observed at her home, 43 Miami Rd, West Hartford, Sunday following the funeral, and Monday through Thursday, 7-9 PM.
