Mildred (Rogil) Tucker

Mildred “Mickey” (Rogil) Tucker, of West Hartford and Old Lyme, passed away on April 29, one day after her 91st birthday. Her loving husband of 70 years, Seymour “Sy”, was by her side as he was every day. In addition to Sy, she is survived by her sister, Phyllis Cherlin; her children: Ronna (Mark Siegal), Larry (Linda) Tucker, and Wendy (David) Savin. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Amy Siegal Frishberg, Beth Siegal (Brian) James, Cari Siegal (James) Walker, Cortney Tucker, Kelly Tucker, Ross (Stephanie) Mendlinger, and Todd Mendlinger. Mickey was grateful to spend so much time with all of her great-grandchildren and growing family. She took great pride not only in the family that she and Sy created, but also in a loving network of friends. Everyone who knew her called her Gramma Mickey. Graveside funeral services will be held TODAY, May 1, at 2pm at the Hartford Mutual Society, Wolcott Rd, East Granby, CT.
