Miriam "Mickey" (Coyhen) Glazer

Miriam ?Mickey? (Cohen) Glazer, 90 years of age, of Simsbury Rd., West Hartford, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Born in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Israel and Rebecca (Sinel) Cohen. Mickey volunteered at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford for over 31 years. She was a member of Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield. She leaves her husband, Leon H. Glazer; her sons, Richard Glazer, PhD of Miami, FL, and Mark Glazer and his wife Shannon of Cary, NC; her grandson, Jason Glazer; and her great-grandchildren, Abby and Julianna Sutton. She was predeceased by her brothers Lewis I.Cohen and Irving J. Cohen, and by her sisters Esther Sochin, Bertha Zimmerman, and Anna Kadish. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave., Hartford with interment in Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, East Granby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor?s choice.
