Miriam (Kollman) Singer

“Miriam Singer, 94, of West Hartford, CT, died Sunday March 24, 2024. Born in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Herman Kollman and Lena Berman. She was pre-deceased by her husband Solon, son Neil Singer, daughter Jodi Schwab and sister Shirley Stein. She leaves her son Howard and his wife Carrie of Torrington, CT, daughter-in-law Dr. Mary O. Singer of Londonderry, NH, son-in-law Howie Schwab of Aventura, FL, two grandchildren Jessica Ecker and her husband Sonny of Dover, NH, Douglas Singer of Nashua, NH, four great-grandchildren Kennedy, Joley, Felix and Phineas. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:30am in the chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary., 640 Farmington Ave, Hartford with Rabbi Jeffrey Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford Mutual Society Cemetery, Wolcott Road, East Granby. Immediately following the burial, a lunch reception for family and close friends will be held at Highcroft Apartments, 1100 Highcroft Place, Weatogue, CT 06089.
