Morris (D.) Cohen

Morris D. Cohen, 95, of West Hartford, formerly of Hartford and Delray Beach, FL died Friday, September 8, 2006. He was the husband of the late Libby (Rosenfield) Cohen. Morris was the owner of the former Uncle Moe’s Pawn Shop in Hartford before he retired. He was a former Vice President and a life member of Beth Hillel Synagogue of Bloomfield. He leaves a son, Neil H. Cohen of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Lynda Cohen-McCarthy of Tewskbury, MA, and Lori Cohen-Elias of Burbank, CA; three great granddaughters and a great grandson. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Harriet Cohen. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby.
